Dvele Kitchen Remodeling: The Fresno Owner’s Guide
Bradford Remodeling Co Fresno stocks and installs Dvele-compatible kitchen remodeling components, with full kitchen remodels in Fresno running $14,000 to $45,000 installed, and smaller scopes like cabinet installation starting at $4,000. We carry OEM-spec Dvele hardware and finish materials on our trucks for most common failure points, which means we can often start the same week you call. Most Fresno owners discover they need us the way you probably just did: a cabinet door that won’t stay square, a drawer slide that’s grinding even after adjustment, or finish panels that have begun separating at the seams from Central Valley heat cycling. Dvele builds a precise system, and when one part drifts out of spec, the whole kitchen feels it.

Bradford Remodeling Co Fresno is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with Dvele, but we’ve worked on enough of their kitchens across Fresno to know exactly how they go together, what fails first, and what it costs to put right.
Which Dvele Models This Applies To

Dvele’s kitchen line uses a modular cabinet and panel system that shares hardware across most of their production run, but the compatibility gotcha Fresno owners hit is this: early-series Dvele kitchens used 110-degree Blum clip-top hinges with a 9mm mounting plate offset, while later builds moved to a 12mm offset. They look identical until you hang the door and it sits a quarter-inch proud of the frame. We check the hinge stamping before we order anything. Same story with drawer slides: the older 550mm soft-close units are not interchangeable with the 500mm slides in the newer line, even though both fit a 24-inch drawer box. If you pull a slide out, the length is printed on the side rail. Get us that number and we’ll have the right part staged before we roll.
For OEM versus aftermarket on Dvele specifically: the cabinet boxes and finish panels are worth keeping Dvele-spec, because their color matching is tight and a mismatched panel is visible from across the room. Hardware is a different story. Blum, Grass, and Salice all make direct-fit replacements that meet or beat the OEM spec, and we stock several of them on the truck. You save money without losing function, and we put that choice in writing on the estimate.

Signs Your Dvele Kitchen Remodeling Is Failing
- Cabinet doors won’t hold adjustment. If you’ve tightened the hinge screws twice in six months and the door still sags, the hinge cup has wallowed out of the MDF door panel. That’s a replacement hinge with a larger cup footprint, not another adjustment.
- Drawers bind or drop on one side. The soft-close slide has a nylon bearing that wears flat, especially in a dry, dusty climate like Fresno. Once the bearing goes, the slide grinds and the drawer racks sideways.
- Finish panels separating at the seams. Dvele uses thermoformed panels, and repeated heat cycles in a Central Valley summer will eventually loosen the adhesion at the edges. It starts as a hairline gap along the bottom rail and gets worse.
- Soft-close stops working in one direction. The damper piston inside the slide or hinge has lost its fluid. Sometimes it’s a stuck piston; sometimes it’s a cracked housing. There’s no household fix for either.
- Pull-out hardware in corner cabinets jams. Dvele’s swing-out and pull-out corner units use a steel linkage that collects dust and grease over time. Without periodic cleaning, the pivot points seize and the unit gets stiff, then stuck.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included
Here’s what we quote in Fresno, in real numbers, before any work starts:

- Full Dvele kitchen remodel: $14,000 – $45,000
- Cabinet installation (new Dvele or spec-equivalent boxes): $4,000 – $13,000
- Countertop installation (Cambria, Silestone, or Caesarstone to Dvele cabinet spec): $2,000 – $6,500
- Kitchen island installation: $3,000 – $10,000
- Backsplash installation: $800 – $2,500
The spread comes down to scope, not surprises. A single cabinet run with new hardware is a one-day job on the low end. A full tear-out with new boxes, panels, counters, and fixtures is the high end. Every Bradford estimate is a written line-item price before we start, and the number doesn’t move at the door. We also carry KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone for owners who want to mix product lines while keeping the Dvele cabinet footprint intact. All work carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if something we installed fails within a year, we come back and fix it at no charge.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely tighten hinge adjusting screws, clean debris out of drawer slides with compressed air, and reset a drawer box that’s jumped its track. What you shouldn’t do is force a seized soft-close mechanism, shim a cabinet box yourself, or try to re-laminate a separating finish panel with construction adhesive. We’ve seen a $40 drawer slide turn into a $400 drawer box replacement because the slide mount ripped out when the drawer was forced. If you’re not sure, snap a photo and call us at (559) 785-2712. Curtis Lane will tell you straight whether it’s a truck-stock fix or a bigger job, and the estimate is free either way.
FAQs

Dvele cabinet boxes and doors typically hold up 15 to 20 years in Fresno’s dry heat, but the moving hardware – hinges, slides, and soft-close dampers – usually needs replacement at the 8- to 12-year mark. That’s the part we replace most often, and it’s a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. Call (559) 785-2712 and we’ll tell you if your hardware is original or already past its service life.
Yes, most of the time. Hinges, slides, dampers, and corner-unit linkages are all replaceable parts, and we stock common Dvele-compatible ones on the truck. The box itself only needs replacing if it’s water-damaged, delaminating, or the mounting points have been ripped out. We’ll give you the repair-versus-replace number in writing before committing to anything.
A standard hinge-and-slide replacement across a 10-foot run of cabinets usually takes one day on site. Larger remodels with countertops and panels run one to three weeks depending on scope and material lead times. We’ll put the schedule in the estimate so you know exactly what to expect.
We keep common Dvele-compatible hinges, slides, and dampers in our Fresno stock, and we can order finish panels and cabinet boxes with a short lead time. If you send us a photo of the part and the model or measurement printed on it, we’ll confirm stock before you book anything.
