Tremron Fence Installation: The Fresno Owner’s Guide
Tremron fence installation in Fresno typically runs $3,500 to $9,000 installed, depending on linear footage, site prep, and whether you’re working with Tremron’s modular concrete wall systems or their traditional paver-based pillars and panels. Most Fresno homeowners call us after a section of fence leans, a cap stone shifts, or the base course settles unevenly after a wet winter. We keep Tremron-compatible components on hand for the common panel and pillar systems, and we’ll give you a written price before any work starts.

Bradford Remodeling Co Fresno is an independent contractor and not affiliated with Tremron. We install and repair their products because Fresno soil demands a fence system that won’t argue with expansive clay. What we’ve learned over decades of working this ground is that most Tremron fence failures aren’t the block itself. They’re what’s underneath it.
Which Tremron Models This Applies To

We install and repair the full range of Tremron concrete fence products: the Estate Wall system, the split-face and smooth-face stackable wall units, structural pillar blocks with cap stones, and the modular panel inserts that slide into grooved posts. If your fence has a textured, stone-look face with clean vertical joints, you’re likely working with Tremron’s split-face line. Smooth gray or tan faces are typically their standard architectural units. The model name is usually stamped on the underside of a cap stone or on the back lip of a panel insert.
The compatibility gotcha most Fresno owners hit: Tremron changed their groove width on panel inserts around 2018. Older pillars have a 2-inch channel; newer ones run 2¼ inches. Measure the channel before you order. An OEM Tremron panel from a newer production run will not seat cleanly in an older pillar unless the channel is shimmed or the panel is cut. We carry compatible aftermarket panels in both widths, and we’ll tell you plainly whether an OEM unit is worth the wait or a quality equivalent gets you the same look and a better price.
A note on materials: Fresno’s summer sun is brutal on colored concrete. Tremron’s integral color holds up better than surface-applied stains, but even it fades after 10 to 15 years on a south-facing fence line. If you’re replacing one panel on a sun-exposed run, expect a slight color difference between old and new. We can match it close, but concrete that has spent a decade in Central Valley heat will not look brand new.

Signs Your Tremron Fence Installation Is Failing
- Leaning pillars or panel sections. This almost always means the footing has shifted or the base course wasn’t set on compacted gravel. Fresno’s clay soil swells when wet and contracts when dry, and a footing poured too shallow will move with it.
- Gaps opening between stacked units. Concrete blocks don’t shrink. Gaps mean the wall is moving, usually because water is getting behind it and pushing forward. Look for missing or cracked cap stones directly above the gap.
- Cracked cap stones or chipped corners. Cap stones break from impact, freeze-thaw cycling (less common in Fresno, but it happens in the foothills), or because the pillar shifted underneath and transferred stress to the cap.
- White powdery residue on the face. That’s efflorescence, and it tells you water is moving through the block. It’s not structural by itself, but it’s a sign the fence isn’t draining properly. Left alone, trapped water accelerates spalling in Fresno’s freeze cycles.
- Panel inserts rattling or sagging between posts. A properly seated Tremron panel shouldn’t move. If yours does, the groove has worn, the panel was undersized from day one, or the pillar has rotated slightly and opened the channel.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For a standard Fresno residential fence, you’re looking at $3,500 to $9,000 installed. A short repair like resetting two leaning pillars and replacing four panels usually lands toward the lower end. A full perimeter replacement with new footings, drainage gravel, Tremron pillars, panels, and cap stones pushes toward $9,000, especially if the old fence has to be demoed and hauled off.
What drives the cost: linear footage, how much of the old footing has to be broken out, whether the ground needs compaction work before we set the base course, and the specific Tremron unit you’re matching. Parts and labor are separated on the written price we give you before work starts. If the job goes sideways, you already know the number. Every Tremron fence installation we complete is covered by our 365-Day Done Right Promise: if it fails structurally within one year, we come back and correct it at no charge.
For a full yard, expect $3,500 to $9,000 depending on footage and existing conditions. Call (559) 785-2712 and we’ll give you a written line-item price before any tools come off the truck.
DIY or Call Us?
You can safely check the obvious: Is the cap stone cracked? Is there water pooling at the base? Has a panel slid partway out of the groove? Those are diagnostic, and they’ll help you describe the problem when you call. What you shouldn’t tackle on your own is resetting leaning pillars. A pillar that’s out of plumb by more than an inch has a footing problem, and fixing it means digging out the old base, compacting new gravel, and re-stacking under load. That’s a two-person job with real risk of a shifting block pinching a hand or a panel dropping. We’ve seen DIY fixes where the owner had to tear it all out six months later because the footing wasn’t compacted.
Curtis Lane will tell you the same thing he tells every homeowner: the estimate says what we build, and we build what the estimate says. If your Tremron fence is leaning, cracking, or shedding panels, call (559) 785-2712. We’ll look at it, tell you what’s wrong, and put the fix in writing.
FAQs

A properly installed Tremron fence on compacted drainage gravel should last 30 to 40 years in Fresno’s climate. The weak points are the footings and the cap stones. Water and clay soil movement shorten that lifespan significantly, and most fences we replace fail at the base, not in the block itself. Call (559) 785-2712 and we’ll assess whether your fence is a candidate for repair or replacement.
Yes, if the block itself isn’t cracked and the footing is the problem. We excavate the base, compact new gravel, reset the block, and re-level. If the block has integrity issues, replacement is cheaper long-term. We’ll tell you which one you’re looking at before you commit to anything.
A repair like two pillars and four panels is usually one to two days. A full yard replacement with new footings and demo of the old fence runs three to five days, depending on weather and access. We’ll give you a schedule in writing along with the price.
We keep common Tremron-compatible panel inserts, cap stones, and pillar units on hand in the most common Fresno colors. For odd sizes or discontinued colors, we’ll source what’s needed and give you a lead time before you pay anything. You’ll know the exact number before the work is scheduled.
